The Versailles Chest has a black glass top, supported by a steel base frame and adorned with gold-finished doors. The ends are coated in black lacquer. The doors showcase foxed mirror panes embellished with a decorative, centrally placed carved spiral twist. The steel base and handles also feature the same spiral twist design. Additionally, the left side of the chest is designed with an X-frame.
