A viscose fiber made from cellulose and purified cotton. It has been specially developed for use as a carpet yarn and has been formulated to have superior strength, a fabulous silk like sheen, and excellent color retention.
Viscose is popular for a number of reasons, most importantly its luxurious look and feel yet affordable price. Viscose is versatile and blends easily with other fibres. It is easily dyed and retains vivid colours particularly well. It is renowned for its silk like lustre, appealing drape and superior softness to cotton.
We recommend viscose for light traffic areas as it does absorb moisture – body oils and water. This can discolour and weaken the fabric and result in marking.
Structure that allows area rugs to be woven by holding the warp strands taut; looms can be vertical or horizontal, fixed or mobile.
Luxcelle rugs are constructed of wood cellulose fibers which absorb moisture easily, therefore cleaning is not advised. Experienced and professional dry cleaning is recommended. Do not spot clean with clean water as cellulose fiber can discolor when exposed to water. Avoid placing luxcelle rugs in high-traffic areas.
