This family room, comfortably adjoining the kitchen and living room, is the perfect place to sit, relax and converse with family and friends. Our clients did not find this space ideal for watching movies or sports and wanted to better utilize the living room for this purpose. Opening the wall from the family room to the living room allowed a comfortable flow between all rooms and gave a purpose to each space. Now this family room honors the cozy fireplace as a focal point with a comfortable sofa and two relaxing, yet stylish chairs with ottomans creating symmetry in the space. Mixed materials on the accent tables add a sophisticated and easy style to the room using iron, glass and wood. The blue and gray color scheme keep a fresh traditional vibe.
